Work orders for multi-unit restaurants
FluxOps handles restaurant R&M from the moment a walk-in runs warm or a hood fan stops to the moment the fix is confirmed, without your contractors adopting anything.
What does a warm walk-in look like in FluxOps?
A work order that says "Walk-in Cooler #2 is running warm, product at risk", not a point name. Your GM or facilities lead approves from a phone. Your refrigeration contractor gets the job on theirs. When the cooler is back in range, FluxOps confirms it.
Why does confirmation matter in a kitchen?
Under the FDA Food Code, cold-held food is kept at 41°F or below, and food held without temperature control is discarded after four hours. Knowing the fix held, not just that someone said "done", is the difference between a service call and a throw-away.
What equipment does it cover?
Everything in the building: refrigeration, HVAC, hoods and exhaust, water heaters, ice machines, cooking equipment, plumbing, electrical. Each unit has its own history.
Who uses it?
Facilities managers, district and area managers, and GMs. Approvals go to whoever you assign per site. Corporate sees everything; a GM sees their store.
Questions
Does it work with my kitchen equipment monitoring?
If it sends alarms by API, email, or text, yes. If not, your staff reports from a phone.
Can I set a spend limit per store?
Yes, a not-to-exceed per site or per job type. Under the limit, jobs approve themselves.
Do my existing vendors have to change anything?
No. The job goes to their phone. No app, no account, no fees.
Start with one location. Add the rest when it earns it.
Flat $15 per site per month. Unlimited users. Contractors never pay. Your first location is free, for as long as you want.
