Is FluxOps a CMMS?
No. A CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) is built for planning preventive maintenance, managing assets and parts, and tracking internal technicians. FluxOps is built for the moment something breaks: getting it approved, to a contractor's phone, done, and confirmed. Some operators use both. Many multi-site operators with outside contractors only need FluxOps.
What does a CMMS do that FluxOps doesn't?
Preventive maintenance scheduling, parts and inventory, labor tracking for in-house technicians, and asset depreciation. If you run your own maintenance crew and a parts room, you need those.
What does FluxOps do that a CMMS doesn't?
Writes the work order from the alarm in plain language, requires a human tap before any dispatch, sends the job to a contractor with no account or fees, and confirms the fix from the equipment where it can.
